About Lily Zhou is a short film I created during a period of severe depression. Inspired by the soundtrack アラベスク from All about Lily Chou-Chou, I aimed to express the feeling of being surrounded by a noisy crowd, where only in solitary moments can one release their emotions, even breathing feels heavy. Therefore, I used two props: a cassette tape and balloons. The opening of the cassette tape symbolizes the beginning of releasing emotions, while the balloons visualize the heavy air. Finally, the scene on the lawn pays tribute to the film.
